Meghan Markle appeared to make a reference to a royal tradition established by the late Queen Elizabeth in the first glimpse of the next series of her Netflix show.
The Duchess of Sussex shared the trailer for the next instalment, set to hit screens August 26, on social media but a detail was spotted by eagle eyed royal watchers.
In several scenes, Meghan could be seen wearing a white Carolina Herrera frock decorated with lily-of-the-valley appears prominently.

Royal fans quickly highlighted the choice of dress, speculating it could potentially be intended to honour the late Queen Elizabeth II.

The particular floral pattern on Meghan's dress carries deep significance, as these particular blooms were reportedly the late monarch's preferred flowers.
Queen Elizabeth chose to carry the delicate white blossoms in her 1947 wedding bouquet.
She also featured them as her 1953 coronation flowers, associating them strongly with her reign.
According to gardener Alan Titchmarsh in Gardeners' World, the late Queen "loved primroses, lily-of-the-valley and other modest blooms far more than elaborate exotics.

He added that the Elizabeth's preference was: "Something that speaks volumes about her personality."
Such was the Queen's association, Princess Kate also chose lily-of-the-valley flowers for he own Westminster Abbey wedding bouquet in 2011.
Lily-of-the-valley are delicate flowers traditionally associated with trustworthiness, motherhood and renewed happiness.
Beyond the floral tribute, Meghan was also seen donning a burgundy pullover from French brand Sézane in additional footage.

In another apparent connection to the Royal Family, exact garment in cream was worn by Kate Middleton during a 2023 appearance.
The next series of With Love, Meghan is returning to Netflix later this month.
In the new trailer, a host of celebrity guests were showed off including Chrissy Teigen and fashion expert Tan France.
Additional guests confirmed for the second series include chefs David Chang, Samin Nosrat, Christina Tosi and Clare Smyth.

Meghan’s personal circle will also feature prominently, with appearances from fitness instructor Heather Dorak and entrepreneur Jamie Kern Lima.
Makeup artist Daniel Martin, who appeared in the programme's initial series, will also return for the new episodes.
Prince Harry and Meghan's children with him, Prince Archie and Prince Lilibet, were not seen in the trailer.
However, Meghan made a cheeky reference to her husband in the closing moments of the trailer.
